Miriam E. Rogers, 74, Victoria, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at her home.
She was born Oct. 16, 1937, in Beaumont, Texas, to John and Louise (Kelly) Thomason.
She married Gary L. Rogers on Feb. 22, 1986, in Stockton. She worked in radio and TV communications as a media consultant in Hawaii and Alabama. She moved to Victoria in 1985 from Virginia. She enjoyed her family and her pets.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Jef Cuzik and wife, Monica, Cary, N.C., and Timothy McAbee and wife, Kelly, Massapequa Park, N.Y.; three daughters, Kelli Cox and husband, Lee Raskin, San Diego, Kathi Sodell and husband, Neil, Napa Valley, Calif., and Jennee Adams, Raleigh, N.C.; two stepsons, Rich Rogers and wife, Christy, Newton, and Terry Rogers and wife, Bobbi, Great Bend; a stepdaughter, Diane Tipp and husband, Matt, Kanopolis; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday at Cline's Mortuary, 412 Main, Victoria, KS 67671.
Memorials are suggested to Humane Society of the High Plains in care of the mortuary.
