Helen Mildred Mohl
Helen Mildred Mohl, 89, Russell, died Sunday, August 31, 2008 at Golden Living Center, Lucas.
She was born Jan. 13, 1919, in Ogallah to Michael and Anna (Sander) Hammerschmidt.
She married William "Fred" Mohl on April 13, 1942, in Great Bend. He preceded her in death on March 14, 1992. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, William "Fred" Jr., Lawrence; three daughters, Patricia Reed, Hutchinson, Sandra Hoopes and Cynthia Clenney, both of Russell; a brother, Elias Hammerschmidt, Kingman; and a sister, Viola Robben, Walker.
She was preceded in death by an infant grandson and a step-grandson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. at St. Marys, Queen of Angels Catholic Church; burial in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Russell.
Visitation will be until 5 p.m. today at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.
A vigil will be at 7 p.m. today at the church.
Memorials are suggested to St. Marys Catholic Church, Golden Living Center, Lucas, or the Russell Fire Department in care of the mortuary.
