Moses James Dabney

Moses James Dabney, 35, Hill City, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at his home.

He was born May 21, 1977, in Denver to Michael Alan and Deborah Renee (House) Dabney.

He was a construction worker.

Survivors include two sons, Taevian Reeyce Maupin Dabney, Hays, and Easton Job Dabney, Topeka; a daughter, Aralen Siara Maupin Dabney, Hays; his parents, Hill City; his grandmother, Henrietta Carson Smith, Denver; two brothers, Michael A. Dabney II, Hays, and Douglas Gardenhower, Denver; two sisters, Nina S. Dabney Brooks, Independence, Mo., and Shavonda L. Dabney Thrower, Hays.

He was preceded in death by an infant twin.

Services will be at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at Los Lagos Restaurant, Hill City; private family burial will be at a later date.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials are suggested to Moses Dabney Memorial Fund in care of Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City.
