Paul Ernest Mueller, 80, Hays, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at his son's home in Hays.
He was born Feb. 17, 1929, in New York City to Ernest and Bertha (Thompkins) Mueller.
He spent most of his life in Brooklyn, N.Y., as an imports/exports traffic manager of rawhides and leather goods and moved to Hays in 2009.
Survivors include a son, Franklin Mueller and wife, Marjorie, Hays; a daughter, Helena Mueller, Ann Arbor, Mich.; a sister, Alwilda Botka, Naples, Fla.; two grandchildren, Sandy Mueller-Aldrich and Seana Mueller-King; two great-grandchildren, Briana Aldrich and Alexandra Aldrich; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard Mueller.
Private family services and inurnment will be at a later date.
Cline's Mortuary of Hays, 1919 E. 22nd, Hays, KS, 67601 is in charge of arrangements.
