Nila Eilert, 68, Kirwin, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at her home.

She was born Feb. 4, 1944, in Smith County to Charles and Beth (Carhill) Merrill.

Survivors include a son, Dallas Eilert, McPherson; a daughter, Gina Peak, Kirwin; a brother, John Merrill, Marysville; three sisters, Linda Eckland, Port Orchard, Wash., Marta Chandler, Mankato, and April Humphrey, West Manchester, Wash.; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert in 1990.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kirwin United Methodist Church, Kirwin; cremation has taken place.

Friends can sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Memorials are suggested to Kirwin Library, Kirwin United Methodist Church, or Phillips County EMS in care of the funeral home.
