Nola Mae Commons, 90, Baxter Springs, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, at St. John's Regional Medical Center, Joplin, Mo.

She was born March 17, 1919, in Eufaula, Okla., to Thomas and Della (Young) Turrentine.

She married Randolph Daniel Commons on March 20, 1937, in Cardin, Okla. He preceded in death. She managed Loves Country Store in Baxter Springs.

Survivors include two sons, Randy Commons, Baxter Springs, and Tom E. Commons, Riverton; a daughter, Dr. Donna Lou Commons, Hays; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Randolph Commons.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God Church, Baxter Springs; burial in Lowell Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Women's Missionary Council in care of Derfelt's Baxter Chapel, Baxter Springs.
