Grace Irene Oren, 85, Hoxie, died Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Colby Care Center.

She was born March 7, 1923, in Fresno, Calif., to C.M. and Grace Stayer Patmon.

She married Arlie Oren on July 17, 1939. He preceded her in death on June 9, 1991. She was employed at Sheridan County Hospital.

Survivors include three sons, Donald Oren, Hoxie, Jerry Oren, Wahpeton, N.D., and Larry Oren, Colby; two brothers, Bill Patmon, Hoxie, and David Patmon, Prescott Valley, Ariz.; three sisters, Vivian Edwards, Arizona, Cherry Johnson, Bellevue, Wash., and Debra Shinlever, Anchorage, Alaska; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hoxie Christian Church; burial in Hoxie Cemetery.
