Orlin G. Hogan, 83, Long Island, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at Norton County Hospital, Norton.

He was born July 23, 1926, in Norton County to John and Lena (Vreeman) Hogan.

He married Wilma DeBoer on April 16, 1953, in Prairie View. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Gene, Long Island; a daughter, Nancy, Phillipsburg; and a brother, Raymond, Denver.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Luctor Chrisitan Reformed Church, Phillips County; burial in Luctor Cemetery, with military honors by Roy C. Goodrich American Legion Post No. 304, Long Island.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, with family present from 7 to 8 p.m. at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Memorials are suggested to Luctor Christian Reformed Church in care of the funeral home.
