Orren H. Marcotte, 85, Palco, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at his home in rural Palco.
He was born Feb. 18, 1927, in rural Palco to Lewis and May (Morton) Marcotte.
He married Marjorie (Purkey) Marcotte on Aug. 27, 1950, in Kansas City, Kan. She preceded him in death Dec. 4, 1997.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Marcotte and Tim Marcotte, both of Palco; two daughters, Rita Spears, Plainville and
Cherie "Julie" Mattson, Palco; three sisters, Mareata Baldwin, Hill City, Eula Rathbun, Natoma, and Leveta Scoggins, Tennesse; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Church of the Nazarene, Plainville; burial in Pleasant View Cemetery, Palco.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday with family receiving friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Moore-Overlease Funeral.
Memorials are suggested to Hays Maranatha Christian School in care of the funeral home.
