Roy L. Ottken, 84, Topeka, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Haysville Healthcare Center, Haysville.

He was born Sept. 23, 1928, in Grinnell to Arthur and Martha (Huber) Ottken.

He married Marjorie Albertson on June 22, 1947, in Grinnell. She preceded him in death in 2008. He was an electrician with DuPont.

Survivors include two daughters, Roylene Klein and husband, Ron, Derby, and Renae Leiker and husband, Allan, Pueblo, Colo.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Dorothy Armstrong.

Service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home, Oakley; burial in Grinnell Township Cemetery.

Family will be present from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday, both at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Kansas Humane Society of Wichita, Helping Hands Humane Society of Topeka or Grinnell Senior Citizens Center in care of the funeral home.
