Pamela Joyce Schumacher, 50, Hays, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

She was born Feb. 24, 1960, in Sioux Falls, S.D. to Merle and Joyce Carlene (Green) Dix.

She was a customer service representative at N.E.W. Corp., Hays.

Survivors include a son, Nate Schumacher, Elkhart; a daughter, Jessica Schumacher; a brother, Chris Anderson, St. Goerge; two sisters, Penny Paclik, Brandon, S.D., and Patty Palmer, Hays; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Alton; burial in Woodston Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call with family present from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Clark-Gashaw Chapel, Osborne.

Memorials are suggested to grandchildren's education fund in care of the funeral home.
