Pat Lynn Nichols, 71, Alton, died Thursday, March 20, 2014, in Alton.

She was born Oct. 3, 1942, in Salida, Colo., to Charles and Virgina (Joslin) Ludington.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Larry D. Nichols, of the home; a daughter, Renee Nichols, Walker; and two brothers, David Ludington, Hot Springs, S.D., and Charles Ludington, Rapid City, S.D.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karin Nichols, in 1968.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Osborne; burial in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Alton.

There will be no visitation per family's request.

A rosary/vigil will be at 5 p.m. Monday at Clark-Gashaw Chapel, Osborne.

Memorials are suggested to Alton Pride, Center for Health Improvement or Dreiling/Schmidt Cancer Institute, both at Hays Medical Center, in care of the funeral home.
