Paula H. Windholz, 57, Quinter, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Gove County Medical Center, Quinter.

She was born Nov. 28, 1952, in Beaver Dam, Wis., to George and Nathalie (Freeman) Piszczek.

She married Gary Windholz on July 16, 1977, in Norton. She was an elementary school teacher for 31 years.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Kevin Windholz, St. Louis; a brother, Jerry Piszczek, Wichita; a sister, Sue Rippe, Lenexa; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ann Catholic Church, Walker; burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Walker.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Schmitt Funeral Home, Quinter.

Memorials are suggested to Gove County Medical Center Auxiliary in care of the funeral home.
