Peggy L. Fager, 72, died Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Good Samaritan Center of Hays.

She was born March 3, 1941, north of Catherine to John S. and Henrietta (Graf) Staab. She was a 1959 graduate of Girls Catholic High School in Hays.

She married Wayne O. Fager on Oct. 15, 1960, in Catherine. She was the office manager for her husband, at the Wayne Fager American Family Insurance Agency in Hays for 21 years and retired in 2005 and was a checker at Boogart's in Hays for 12 years.

She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne O. Fager, of the home; three sons, Merle J. Fager and companion, Delilah Green, Victoria, Christopher A. Fager, Las Vegas, and David W. Fager, Hays; two sisters, Clara Dinkel and Shirley Scoby, both of Hays; five grandchildren, Cristin Velasquez, Brittany Neal, Shannon Barrios, Jennifer Green, Sara Doerfler and husband, Kyle; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Nancy Staab and Lillian Staab; an infant brother; and two brothers-in-laws, Norman Dinkel and Brian Scoby.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church, Hays; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, both at Cline's Mortuary of Hays, 1919 East 22nd Street, Hays, KS 67601.

A vigil/rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church Building Fund or Thomas More Prep-Marian High School in care of the mortuary.
