Penny Louise Betz

Penny Louise Betz, 64, Bazine, died Friday, May 2, 2014, at her home.

She was born July 13, 1949, to Harley and Marjorie (Norlin) Irvin.

She married Tommy Betz on Aug. 24, 1969, in Hays. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Stacey Betz, Bazine, and Cory Betz, Hays; a daughter, Jennifer Angell, Hays; a brother, John Irvin, McCracken; three sisters, Vickie Overley, Antonino, Susan Walker, Dalhart, Texas, and Sally Irvin, McCracken; and four grandchildren.

A graveside committal service and inurnment will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Bazine Cemetery.

Friends can call to sign the book from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City.

Memorials are suggested to Penny Betz Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home, to be forwarded to North Oak Community Church Orphanage, Case de Luz, Dominican Republic.
