Penny Marie (Boese) Fehrenbach

Penny Marie (Boese) Fehrenbach, 51, Wilson, died Saturday, March 1, 2014, at her home with her family by her side.

She was born April 3, 1962, in Larned to Ronald and Nila (Blehm) Boese. She grew up in Ness City until 1970, when her family moved to Oakley. She was a graduate of Oakley High School.

She married John Fehrenbach on Sept. 21, 2013, in Alexander. She was a dispatcher for Ness County and dispatch supervisor for the Ellsworth County Sheriff's Office.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; a daughter, Melissa Close Lippelmann, Oberlin; a son, A.J. VonLehe, Hays; her parents, Alexander; a stepdaughter, Sue Fehrenbach Drayer; two brothers, Howard Boese and Joey Boese, both of Brownell; a sister, Robin Boese, Oakley; and a granddaughter.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the former United Methodist Church, Alexander; burial in Alexander Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.

Memorials are suggested to Penny Fehrenbach Memorial Fund in care of the mortuary.
