Perry A. Corke, 87, Quinter, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Gove County Medical Center Long Term Care, Quinter.
He was born Nov. 10, 1926, in rural Sheridan County to Ray G. and Rena Floy (Breeden) Corke.
He married Betty L. (White) Corke on July 19, 1953, in rural Studley. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Quinter; three daughters, Treva Corke, Quinter, and Rena Finster and husband, Paul, and Lora Gurley, all of Overland Park; a brother, Kenneth Corke, Goodland; four sisters, Frances Corke, Pratt, Paula Koogler, DeBary, Fla., Kathryn Morgan, Smith Center, and Lois Kaiser, Hartford, S.D.; and four grandchildren, Dan and Sarah Gurley, and Nathan and Aaron Finster, all of Overland Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Verna Corke.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, rural Studley; burial in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Caring and Sharing Fund, Gideon's International or Hospice services in care of Schmitt Funeral Home.
