Philip Veatch II

Philip Veatch II, 35, Munjor, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, in Munjor.

He was born Sept. 16, 1977, in Hays to Philip and Charlotte (Schumacher) Veatch. He was a 1996 graduate of Hays High School.

He married Amy Larson on July 5, 2003, in Hays. He was a stay-at-home dad.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Philip Veatch III, of the home; a daughter, Eileen Veatch, of the home; his mother, Charlotte Veatch, Munjor; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; and a cousin, Paul Veatch.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Munjor; inurnment in the church cemetery.

Family will be present to greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, followed by a vigil, both at Brock's North Hill Chapel, 2509 Vine, Hays, KS 67601.

Memorials are suggested for his children's education fund in care of the funeral home.
