Randal Jack 'Randy' Neal

Randal Jack "Randy" Neal, 64, Russell, died Saturday, March 23, 2013, at his home.

He was born March 7, 1949, in Lyons to Jack B. and Wilda J. (Jean) Neal. He grew up in Chase, attended Chase High School and graduated from Elkhart High School.

He married Bonnie K. Garrett on May 21, 1983, in Russell. He worked for Koch Industries, which later was known as Plains Marketing LP, for more than 45 years on the pipeline and many different management positions.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, of the home; five children, Brad Neal, Steve Neal and Danielle Ewers, all of Russell, Luke Hoffman, Eulessis, Texas, and Adam Neal, Las Vegas; his mother, Valley Center; three sisters, Vickie Wilderson, Valley Center, Cindy Effertz, Great Bend, and Gail Bailey, Hoisington; and six grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in Dorrance City Cemetery.

Friends can sign the book from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hays in care of the mortuary.
