Mary I. Ray, 93, Hill City, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at Sealye House, Hill City.
She was born March 10, 1919, in rural Penokee to Frank Hays and Margaret Sarah (Paintin) Clark.
She married Rufus Calvin "RC" Ray on Aug. 17, 1940, in Gunnison, Colo. He preceded her in death Jan. 20, 1993.
Survivors include a son, Ralph Ray, Morland; a daughter, Helen Waggoner, Hill City; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and three step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter and a grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City; burial in Hill City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Sealye House, Hill City.
