Raymond H. Bange, 76, Colby, formerly of Menlo, died Friday, March 7, 2014, at Fairview Estates, Colby.

He was born Oct. 24, 1937, in Sheridan County to Joseph Herman and Anna Mary (Schwarz) Bange.

He married Frances (Sander) Bange on May 11, 1963, in Colby. He farmed near Menlo.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Paul Bange, Colby, and Matthew Bange, Salina; two daughters, Anna Reese and husband, Scott, New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and Becky Wuerdeman and husband, Bob, Independence; two brothers, Sylvester Bange and wife, Rosemary, Colby, and Ed Bange, Garden City; three sisters, Barb Rietcheck and husband, Al, Seguin, Rosella Meitl and husband, Walt, Oberlin, and Mildred Hill and husband, Dennis, Great Bend; and eight grandchildren, Patrick Wuerdeman, Brittany Bange, Skyler Reese, Brooklyn Bange, Alexandra Reese, Brielle Bange, Gavin Bange and Connor Bange.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sandra Bange; a brother, Vincent Bange; and a sister, Agnus Bange.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Hoxie; burial in St. Martin Catholic Cemetery, Seguin.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with family receiving friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, Hoxie,

A vigil will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home

Memorials are suggested to St. Martins Compassion Fund in care of the funeral home.
