Rex VanAllen Kellogg, 90, Phillipsburg, died Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Phillips County Hospital, Phillipsburg.

He was born Sept. 29, 1922, in Graham County to Alvin and Bessie (VanAllen) Kellogg.

He worked for farm implement dealers in Phillipsburg for 35 years.

Survivors include his wife, Martha, of the home; two sons, Kenneth, McPherson, and Robert, Valley Center; a daughter, Karolyn Kellogg, Hutchinson; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stuttgart; burial in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, with military honors by Fort Riley Honor Guard.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, with family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m., both at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Memorials are suggested to Phillips County 4-H or Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in care of the funeral home.
