Richrad M. "Rick" Woodring, 61, Salina, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Friday, June 26, 2009, at his home.

He was born Oct. 24, 1947, in Phillipsburg to Richard Dale "Dick" and Dorothy (Marsh) Woodring.

He was a purchasing agent for Tamko Roofing Products, Phillipsburg, for many years.

Survivors include two sons, Kelly, Tempe, Ariz., and CSM Rich A. Woodring, Fort Campbell, Ky.; a daughter, Sharro Jo Woodring, Tempe; two half-brothers, Joe Scott, Iola, and Victor Scott, Littleton; a sister, Susan Woodring, McPherson; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg; cremation was planned.

Friends can sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Phillips County Fire Department, Hospice Services of Salina or Fellowship of Christian Athletes in care of the funeral home.
