Richarda Werth, 89, Hays, died Sunday, April 28, 2013 at her home.

She was born July 25, 1923, in Schoenchen to John A. and Rose M. (Stoecklein) Werth. She attended Sisters of St. Joseph Grade School and rural high school in Schoenchen.

She was employed at Boeing Co. in Wichita for many years.

She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Schoenchen until 2002 when she moved to Hays and became a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She also was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order.

Survivors include a sister, Yvonne Werth, Hays; and a brother, Allen Werth of Louisville, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Edwin; and two sisters, Hubertine and Orlinda.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Schoenchen; burial in St. Anthony Cemetery, Schoenchen.

Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Brock's North Hill Chapel, 2509 Vine, Hays.

A Secular Franciscan Order prayer service/rosary will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
