Helen Robben, 91, Hays, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at St. John's Health Care Center, Hays.

She was born May 19, 1918, in Grainfield to Adam and Katharina (Zimmerman) Hartman.

She married Richard H. Robben on Aug. 27, 1945, in Grainfield. He preceded her in death Oct. 29, 1982.

She was a certified nurse's aid at Gove County Medical Hospital Long Term Care, Quinter.

Survivors include a son, Ronald Robben, McPherson; a daughter, Sherilyn Gross, Hays; a brother, Frank Hartman, Salina; a sister, Emma Kaiser, Grainfield; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Park; burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Park.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Schmitt Funeral Home, Quinter.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Sacred Heart Church or Hays Hospice in care of the funeral home.
