Robert E. Staab of Catherine, Kansas passed away September 25, 2013. He was born on June 3, 1924 to Elizabeth Pfeifer and Edward Staab.

He was preceded in passing by his wife, Carol, his parents, brothers Edwin, Alvin, and Francis and his sisters Aurelia, Lydia, Margaret and Estella, many aunts, uncles and cousins and his special favorite, Aunt Coletta. He is survived by his 3 children, Ronald, Brenda and David, 3 grandchildren and 2 special adopted grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sister Pauline, and many nieces and nephews-all who had a special place in his heart.

In 1983 Bob decided to again pursue his love of motorcycles after retirement and sponsored a race team with both of his son's help until 1990.

Bob moved back to his home town in Kansas and raised cattle until 2005 where he enjoyed time as a proud member of the Knights of Columbus as well as a lifetime member of the VFW. In 2008 he moved to WA and lived with his children, Ronald and Brenda and her family until his passing. Funeral mass and memorial service to be held on his birthday in June.
