Robert Lee 'Bob' Dreher

Robert Lee "Bob" Dreher, 63, Hays, died Thursday, July 17, 2014, at his home.

He was born March 9, 1951, in Hays to Wendelin and Sophia (Dreiling) Dreher. He was a 1971 graduate of Hays High School.

He married Lois A. Weber on June 19, 1971, in Hays. He worked for Frito Lay in Hays for many years, retiring in 2012. He was owner of Dreher's Pools and Spas in Hays.

He was a member of St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church, the Sons of the VFW, and was a Troop Master of Boy Scout Troop No. 113 in Hays for many years.

He enjoyed his grandchildren and spending time with them, parades, his work, his customers, camping and his dogs.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Ryan Dreher and wife, Shelly, and Rick Dreher and wife, Tonya, all of Hays; a daughter, Renee Medina and husband, Frank Jr., Hays; two brothers, Don Dreher and wife, Judy, and Ron Dreher and wife, Kathy, all of Hays; 10 grandchildren, Talisha, Deavon, Shelby, Michaela, Parker, Mason, Presley, Chloe, Olivia and Trey.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church, Hays; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Monday, both at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1906 Pine.

A vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the Chloe Medina Medical Fund at Sunflower Bank, in care of the funeral home. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.haysmemorial.com.
