Robert M.W. 'Bob' Eickhoff

Robert M.W. "Bob" Eickhoff, 83, Natoma, died Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Via Christi Village, Hays.

He was born June 13, 1930, north of Natoma to George and Agnes (John) Eickhoff. He was a 1951 graduate of St. Johns College, Winfield.

He married Adeline Blank on Dec. 5, 1954, in Natoma. He delivered fuel for Natoma Co-op Association and later Midland Marketing for more than 35 years.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, of the home; five sons, Philip Eickhoff, St. George, Steve Eickhoff, Russell, Dale Eickhoff and Kevin Eickhoff, both of Natoma, and Gerry Eickhoff, Paola; a daughter, Diane Bott, Bison; a brother, Benjamin Eickhoff, Thedford, Neb.; a sister, Margaret Chrisler, Gorham; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Peace Lutheran Church, Natoma; burial in Natoma Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with family present to greet friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Natoma.

Memorials are suggested to Lutheran Hour on KAHZ and Kansas District L.L.L. in care of the mortuary.
