Ronald Gene Miller

Ronald Gene Miller, 64, Abilene, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008.

He was born April 10, 1944, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to John and Iris Miller.

He worked in sheet metal assembly and inspection for 30 years at Raytheon Aircraft, Salina, and owned and operated Miller Tree Service, Salina, for eight years.

Survivors include his wife, Lula Barbara Miller, of the home; four sons, Robert Burbank Jr., Spring Hill, Fla., Jarrod Miller and John Miller, both of Ellis, and Chad Taylor, Abilene; three daughters, Christina Howell, Kimberly Leiker and Kayleigh Miller, all of Abilene; two brothers, Gary, Salina, and Jack, Greeley, Colo.; and nine grandchildren, Jeremy, Bobby, Adam, Chase, Amanda, Gabriel, Brian, Peyton and Matthew.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Emmanuel Christian Center, Salina; burial in Roselawn Cemetery, Salina.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.

Memorials are suggested to Tammy Walker Cancer Center, Salina, in care of the mortuary.
