Ronald L. William, 88, Hoxie, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Sheridan County Health Complex, Hoxie.

He was born Nov. 29, 1924, in Hoxie to Lorenzo and Ada (Selbe) William.

He married Frances (Richter) William on April 22, 1946, in Hoxie. He was a veteran of the Armed Forces, serving during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Larry William, Topeka, and Victor William, Overland Park; a brother, Don William, Hoxie; a sister, Myrtle Prussner, Illinois; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie William.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hoxie; burial in Hoxie City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, Hoxie, and from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the church, Sheridan County Health Complex or Hoxie Swimming Pool in care of the funeral home.
