Gerald Eugene Rourke

Gerald Eugene Rourke, 52, Aguilar, Colo., died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at his mountain home.

He was born Oct. 28, 1959, in Hays to John Gerald and Dorothy D. Nemechek Rourke. He was a 1977 graduate of McCracken High School.

He was a construction worker.

Survivors include two brothers, John Joseph Rourke and wife, Maria, Allen, Texas, and Kevin Rourke and wife, Joan, Russell; three sisters, Kathleen Kazmaier and husband, Don, Larned, Marie Penrod and husband, George, Burns, Wyo., and Louise Seltman and husband, Brian, Nekoma; 11 nieces and nephews; and 18 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Bradley Legleiter; and a great niece, Shelby Swaney Stutzke.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, McCracken.

Memorials are suggested to St. Mary's Heritage Society, in care of Morell Funeral Home, P.O. Box 124, Larned, KS 67550.
