Roy O. Bretton, 71, Phillipsburg, died Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Phillips County Hospital.

He was born Jan. 25, 1942, in Kirwin to Mavor O. and Ethel Ann (Smith) Bretton.

He was a truck driver.

Survivors include a son, Tracy Bretton, Plainville; two daughters, Kerri Bouchard and Mindi Crain, both of Phillipsburg; his mother, Phillipsburg; two brothers, Ralph, McCook, Neb., and Rex, Phillipsburg; a sister, Luella Snyder, Ness City; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg; burial in Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, with family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Roy O. Bretton Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
