Ruby Daldeen (Fortner) Blazer, 76, Natoma, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at Redbud Village, Plainville.
She was born March 28, 1937, in Goessel to James Kendall and Belva (Joiner) Fortner. She graduated from Kingman High School and attended Sterling College.
She married James Everett "Jim" Blazer on April 10, 1981, in St. John. She was owner and operator of Special Touch Flower Shop in Great Bend.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, of the home; three sons, Kelly Staples, Okeechobee, Fla., Kent Staples and James Blazer III, Beloit; two daughters, Tammy Hoffman, Cawker City, and Jacci Standlee, Ellinwood; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Natoma United Methodist Church; graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Lakin Comanche Cemetery, Ellinwood.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Natoma Senior Center in care of Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Natoma.
