Ruby Loyd, 89, Phillipsburg, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2009, at Phillips County Retirement Center, Phillipsburg.

She was born Nov. 28, 1919, in Hildreth, Neb., to Henry and Hannah (Ubben) Frecks.

She married Dell Loyd on Aug. 17, 1945, in Smith Center. He preceded her in death Oct. 29, 1991. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter, Delores Vogel, Fort Collins, Colo.; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stuttgart; burial in Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 am. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m., at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Memorials are suggested to Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in care of the funeral home.
