Ruth Elaine Taylor

Ruth Elaine Taylor, 76, Hoxie, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Hays Medical Center.

She was born March 11, 1936, in Tasco to Walt R. and Mary "Mae" (Cunningham) Hyde.

She married Wayne "Red" Taylor on Nov. 3, 1951, in Hoxie.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Russ Taylor, Lyndon, and David Taylor, Sylvester, Ga.; a daughter, Lana Anderson, Colby; two brothers, Darrel Hyde and Ralph Hyde, both of Hoxie; a sister, Wilma Bieker, Hoxie; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Randy Taylor and Ross Taylor.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, Hoxie; burial in Hoxie City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday, both at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Sheridan County Health Complex in care of the funeral home.
