Ruth Marjorie Walz, 95, rural Ellis, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital, WaKeeney.

She was born Aug. 4, 1917, in rural Graham County to Ray O. and Lois Mae (Eaton) Noah. She was a 1935 graduate of Palco High School.

She married Henry C. Walz on Oct. 8, 1938, at Mount Pleasant Methodist Church, rural Graham County. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Leroy Walz and Stephen Walz, both of rural Ellis; three daughters, Roma McConkey, Camdenton, Mo., Linda Thompson, Corona, Calif., and Beth Johnson, WaKeeney; two brothers, Raymond, Lexington, Ky., and Calvin, Valley Center; a sister, Rose Mary Hillman, Hays; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Red Line Church of God, rural Palco; burial in Morlan Township Cemetery, rural Graham County.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Red Line Church of God in care of the Schmitt Funeral Home, 336 N. 12th, WaKeeney, KS 67672.
