Ruth Mary VonLintel, 85, Quinter, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at Gove County Medical Center, Quinter.

She was born March 30, 1927, in Park to Anton and Katherine (Drieling) Bittel.

She married Norbert VonLintel on Sept. 25, 1951. He preceded her in death Feb. 7, 1999.

Survivors include two sons, Alan VonLintel, Overland Park, and Dale VonLintel, Scottsbluff, Neb.; a daughter, Eva Junk, Hays; a brother, Charles Bittel, Blue Springs, Mo.; a sister, Cora Flora, Quinter; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Samuel VonLintel.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael Catholic Church; burial in St. Michael Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Schmitt Funeral Home, Quinter.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Gove County Medical Center-Long Term Care Senior Citizen Center in care of the funeral home.
