Samuel Evan Spiess, 24, died Saturday, March 16, 2013.

Survivors include his parents, Jim and Jane Spiess; two sisters, Molly Spiess and Angie Cassity and husband, Faron, all of Wichita; a nephew, Kyle Cassity, Wichita; and a niece, Lillian Cassity, Wichita.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John, Regina and Eleanor Spiess, and Vance and Lois Harkness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at All Saints Catholic Church, Wichita.

A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Lifeline Animal Placement, 310 W. 45th Street North, Wichita, KS 67204, or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, Ste. 200, Bethesda, MD 20841.

Downing and Lahey East, Wichita, is in charge of arrangements. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.dlwichita.com.
