Sister Florence Seib

Sister Florence Seib, ASC, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012.

She was born March 9, 1931, in Ness City to Paul and Mary (Stoecklein) Seib.

She was a former teacher, principal, chaplain and leadership team counselor. She made her first profession July 1, 1949.

Survivors include eight brothers, Tony and wife, Wilma, Hays, Eugene, San Francisco, Paul and wife, Shellby, Ness City, Robert and wife, JoAnn, Castle Rock, Colo., Tom and wife, Ellen, Stanwood, Wash., Vernon and wife, Glenda, Arvada, Colo., Gary and wife, Gloria, Denver, and Jerry and wife, Barbara, Elizabeth, Colo.; four sisters, Eleanor Knoll, Garden City, Lorita Franz and husband, Leonard, Garden City, Benita Synder and husband, Daniel, Dodge City, and Mary Catherine Hilmes and husband, James, Hays; a multitude of nieces and nephews; and sisters of the ASC Community.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, James.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Adorers of the Blood of Christ, Wichita Center, 1165 Southwest Blvd.

A wake will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Adorers of the Blood of Christ, Wichita.

Memorials are suggested to Retirement of Sisters, ASC, 1165 Southwest Blvd., Wichita, KS 67213.

DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary, Wichita, is in charge of arrangements.
