Sherril J. Johnson, 75, Lenora, died Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Hays Medical Center.

She was born April 19, 1939, in Englewood, Colo., to Alvin George and Hilda Roma (Schneider) Kennedy.

She married Harold "Corky" Johnson on June 7, 1965, in Estes Park, Colo. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Lenora; a son, Robert "Bobby" Holmes, Kansas; four daughters, Susan Bliss, Logan, Vivian Dietz, Hays, Patsy Nutter, Topeka, and Ginger Lea Pursell, Boise, Idaho; a stepdaughter, Rebecca Rodriguez, Sacramento; five brothers, Ken Kennedy, Jefferson, Colo., Keith Kennedy, Council Bluffs, Iowa, Mike Kennedy, Lakewood, Colo., Ernie Kennedy, Lochbuie, Colo., and Pat Kennedy, Killeen, Texas; two sisters, Bev Wood, Aurora, Colo., and Janet Davidson, Salisbury, N.C.; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a stepson.

Services were Thursday at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City; private family burial will be at a later date.
