Tabea Krug, 100, Russell, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Hays Medical Center.

She was born March 16, 1912, in rural Barton County to Henry and Elizabeth (Niedenthal) Dietz. She attended school in Bunker Hill.

She married Herbert R. Krug on Feb. 14, 1932. He preceded her in death Oct. 30, 1991. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Wilmer Krug and Harry Krug, both of Russell; a grandson; seven stepgrandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church, Russell; cremation has preceded the service and burial of the cremains will take place at a later date.

Guestbook registration will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.

Memorials are suggested to the Dream Theatre, Russell, in care of the mortuary.
