Ted Walt Jr., 69, Collyer, died Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Gove County Medical Center, Quinter.
He was born Sept. 25, 1942, in rural Trego County to Theodore E. Walt Sr. and Ella M. (Goetz) Walt.
He married Rosemary (Dinkel) Walt on Oct. 7, 1961, in Collyer.
Survivors include his wife, Collyer; two sons, Larry Walt and Terry Walt, both of Collyer; a daughter, Patty Knop, Collyer; a sister, Marq Von Lintel, Kansas City, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Collyer; burial in St. Michael Cemetery, Collyer.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Schmitt Funeral Home, Quinter.
A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Masses or Gove County Medical Center (Acute Care) in care of the funeral home.
