Terry Lee Henning, 53, Ness City, died Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Ness County Hospital, Ness City.
He was born Sept. 11, 1959, in Ransom to Julius and Melva Rose (Weber) Henning. He was a 1977 graduate of Ransom High School.
He married Joby Wendler on April 27, 1985, in Ness City. He worked in the oil field with CarMac Oil Service until 1987, then began work in the appraisal field. He was a county appraiser for Hodgeman, Rush and Wilson counties and was an appraisal consultant with McCully and Associates.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ness City, and Third Degree Knights of Columbus, Ransom.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Nick Henning, Manhattan, and Ben Henning, Pratt; two brothers, Kenny Henning and wife, Traci, Hays, and James Henning and wife, Tami, Kingman; two sisters, Donna Bollig and husband, Delbert, and Carol Nemechek and husband, Dick, all of WaKeeney; his father, Ransom; and numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan; his mother; and a brother, Joseph Henning.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ness City; burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, both at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City.
A rosary/vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the church.
