Thelma Braun, 77, Phillipsburg, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at Phillips County Hospital, Phillipsburg.

She was born Feb. 8, 1936, in Phillips County to William James and Delphia Faye (Bretton) Chestnut.

She married LeRoy Braun on Nov. 11, 1961, in Logan. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, David Chestnut, Franklin, Neb., and Delton Braun, Phillipsburg; five daughters, Regina Borthwick, Hays, Rhonda Stegmaier, Roxie Braun and Becky Davis, all of Phillipsburg, and Rolanda Capps, Kirwin; a sister, Ila Johnson, Glade; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg; inurnment in Marvin Cemetery, Glade.

Friends can sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, with family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Phillips County Hospital Hospice room in care of the funeral home.
