Kathleen Ann "Kathy" Thomson, 53, Gardner, formerly of Natoma, died Saturday, July 28, 2012, at her home.

She was born Sept. 25, 1958, in Kimball, Neb., to Billy Lee and Patricia J. (Maupin) Hosier.  She grew up and attended public schools in the Natoma area.

She married James J. "Jim" Thomson on Feb. 5, 1977, in Plainville.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, James D. Thomson, Blue Springs, Mo.; a daughter, Billy Jo Schultz, Lucas; her mother, Natoma; two brothers, Bob Hosier, Natoma, and Russell "Rusty" Hosier, Cawker City; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary Chapel, Russell; family graveside inurnment of the cremains will be in the Natoma City Cemetery following services.

The register book will be available for guests to sign from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to O.M.C. Hospice in care of the mortuary.
