Tena Jill Martin, 56, Hays, died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, at her home.
She was born July 16, 1953, in Woodward, Okla., to Elmo Pershing and Janet Alden (Lowe) Martin. She attended school in Woodward and Healy, and she also attended Fort Hays State University.
She married Luis Jimenez in Hays. She worked for Menninger Foundation, Topeka, and was a bank teller.
Survivors include two sons, Martin Christopher Jimenez and wife, Shawn, Lawrence, and Carlos Javier "Javi" Jimenez and wife, Jessica, Ellis; two brothers, Tom Martin, Hays, and Terry Lowe Martin, Clayton, N.M.; two sisters, Jan Ann "Muffin" York and husband, Mike, Healy, and Mary Sue "Brandy" Payton and companion, Gene Cruz, Clayton; two nieces, Jessica Ann Franco and husband, Samuel, Santa Teresa, N.M., and Samantha Brooke "Sam" Sands and husband, Barry, Springs, Texas; and six grandchildren, Trayton, Reece, Chaselyn, Tyson, Chance and Raegan.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Cline's Mortuary of Hays, 1919 E. 22nd, Hays, KS 67601; inurnment will be at a later date in Mount Hope Cemetery, Ellis.
Family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hays Medical Center in care of the mortuary.

Martin and Javi- I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was a wonderful woman that always adored her boys. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
