Gary Lee Tittel, 64, died Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, at Hays Medical Center.

He was born on June 5, 1949, in Ransom, the son of Otto and Martina Depperschmidt Tittel.

He was a well-known farmhand and worked for the Kansas highway maintanance department for many years.

He is survived by his brother, Terry Tittel; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Church, Ness City, with burial following in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Rosary will be at the church at 7 p.m. Sunday with visitation following. Friends my come to Fitzgerald Funeral Home from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday to sign the book.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Sacred Heart School or the American Diabetes Association. Words of sympathy and support may be left for the family at www.fitzgeraldfuneral.com
