Tonya M. Hodges, 39, Minneapolis, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born March 27, 1973, in Liberal to Ray and Dyann (McKain) Jackson. She was a 1992 graduate of Liberal High School. She graduated from Fort Hays State University with a bachelor's degree in athletic training and earned her master's degree in physical therapy from the University of Kansas.

She married Barry Hodges on April 10, 1999. She worked as the director of physical therapy at Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Hanna and Halli Hodges; her parents, Liberal; two sisters, Kristy Olson and husband, Jim, Tyrone, Okla., and Monica Girdner and husband, Mark, Ankeny, Iowa; and many other family and friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, Minneapolis.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials are suggested to Tonya Hodges Memorial Fund that will be used as an education fund for Hanna and Halli in care of the funeral home.
