Viola May Rothgeb
Viola May Rothgeb, 97, Russell, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at Russell Regional Hospital.
She was born Aug. 17, 1910, in New Albany to James W. and Anna (Nelson) Eaton. She attended school in New Albany.
She married Ray D. Rothgeb on Aug. 4, 1935, in Fredonia. He preceded her in death May 21, 1981. She was a cook in the dietary department at Russell Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Sheila Mills, Manhattan; two grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Graveside services were today in Russell City Cemetery.
Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell, is in charge of arrangements.
