Velma Catherine VonFeldt

Velma Catherine VonFeldt, 80, Russell, formerly of Victoria, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at her home.
She was born Feb. 14, 1932, in Victoria to Wendelin and Leona (Schamber) Stang. She grew up in Victoria and attended public schools in Victoria.
She married Roy P. VonFeldt on May 20, 1950, in Victoria. He preceded her in death Sept. 30, 1994. She was the official bookkeeper and accountant for VonFeldt Oil Inc.
Survivors include two sons, Steven VonFeldt and Alan VonFeldt, both of Russell; two daughters, Vickie Munday, Russell, and Diane Lindenmuth, Woodward, Okla.; two brothers, Wendy Stang, Hays, and Elden Stang, Madison, Wis.; two sisters, Delilah Brungardt and Marilyn Braun, both of Victoria; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen VonFeldt.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Russell; burial in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Russell.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.
Memorials are suggested to St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in care of the mortuary.
